DPM Business Development Manager - US, Germany and Nordics

Engage ESM is an Atos company, the DPM (Digital Performance Management) sub-practice of Engage ESM offers both managed services and consulting powered by the top two DMP vendors, Cisco AppDynamics and Dynatrace. Differentiating expertise in the integration of these vendors with ServiceNow is key to our ongoing growth. Our delivery resources also subcontract for both vendors showing the level of excellence in skills further helping to differentiate Engage ESM/Atos in the DPM market.

Due to recent investment in both SAP, Manufacturing, and Energy & Utilities GTMs we are looking to expand our Business Development footprint. We are looking for hires into our US, German and Nordic businesses currently.

DPM Business Development Manager (BDM)

The primary role of the DPM BDM is to work closely with the wider Atos sales community, customers, and prospects to understand and translate their business and technical requirements to ultimately drive revenue and margin based on AppDynamics and Dynatrace. The DPM practice has developed a GTM with the wider Atos ServiceNow and SAP practices making the solution a differentiator for large Atos bids.

Your job as a BDM will be to work closely with Cisco, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and the wider Atos sales community to create and close the DPM business. DPM, especially when integrated into ServiceNow, can differentiate large Atos bids. Your role is to surface and close opportunities where this happens. As such the ability to operate in a large complex organization will be key to your success.

You should feel comfortable identifying sales leads, pitching solutions to new clients, and maintaining a good working relationship with contacts both internal and external, as well as developing a strong operational collaboration with Cisco, AppDynamics & Dynatrace stakeholders (Account Managers, Solution Sales, Partner account Managers, etc).

Working as a DPM BDM you will report to the global head of BDMs working with other BDMs covering the UK, France, & BTN. As part of the wider team, you will enjoy the support of members of the team. Sharing of best practices learned will be one of the key success factors for the team but will also foster shared goals and contribute to an enjoyable working environment. 

The scope of your portfolio will be both DPM Managed Services and Resell for the following Cisco Data Center technologies: AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, CWOM/IWO, Intersight, and Dynatrace. Finally, you will be responsible, with the assistance of our presales team, to shape and delivering comprehensive proposals that include licenses and implementation/running services.
Measurable targets to include qualified pipeline growth, in-year external revenue, and project margin associated with the Atos Digital Performance Monitoring Practice portfolio.

Responsibilities:

This role revolves around good communication, the following highlight key duties:

  • Working with wider Atos and ServiceNow Practice Engage ESM, Cisco, AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, Turbonomic, and Dynatrace sales teams to create and manage the pipeline to closure.
  • Following up on new business opportunities and setting up meetings.
  • Planning and preparing presentations, with the help of the presales team if needed,
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients and Atos stakeholders.
  • Steering the shape of technical and commercial proposals, end-to-end, from the build to publication, in a timely schedule, with the support of the presales team and of the management when needed.
  • Providing management with feedback on business opportunities through both verbal and/or written summaries/minutes of meetings.
  • Updating forecast data, accurately and regularly, through Salesforce and the DPM team forecast tools.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Fluent English and strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Proven experience in working within Atos or other large System Integrators, as internal selling to Atos stakeholders will be the key to success.
  • Strong track record of quota over-achievement for the past 3 years.
  • Must be someone who is intellectually curious and gets gratification from building solutions.
  • Must be a self-starter and keen to explore new solutions as well as a hard worker.
  • Be a team player and demonstrate flexibility to work with a variety of cultures, personalities, and styles.
  • Adaptable to work in a varied, high-paced, exciting, demanding but fun environment,
  • Strong personal commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Experience in selling complex software and hardware solutions ideally in the hybrid cloud market.

Desired:

  • Experience in APM or IaaS or PaaS or Cloud Management solution sales.
  • Experience in Implementation services sales.
  • Exposure to virtualization & cloud architectures (VMware, AWS, Azure, Google, etc),
  • Exposure to AppDynamics+ portfolio: AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes, CWOM/IWO, Intersight, and Dynatrace.
